Product Terms of Use, Disclaimers & Legal Notice
Please read the following carefully before use
1. USE & STORAGE
1.1. Avoid over-tightening and do not layer multiple wraps in a way that cuts off circulation.
1.2. The tape must be removed immediately after your training session or within a maximum of three (3) continuous hours—whichever occurs first.
1.3. Never wear the tape overnight or while inactive.
1.4. Do not use this product on broken, infected, inflamed, or abnormally sensitive skin.
1.5. Do not apply to any part of the body where circulation may be impaired or where skin damage may occur due to pressure or heat.
1.6. This product is not sterile, not reusable, and not suitable for internal use.
1.7. Do not ingest this product. Do not use it on individuals under 12 years of age without continuous adult supervision.
1.8. Normal use of this product is defined as temporary application to clean, dry, unbroken skin on the fingers, toes, or small joints during a physical training session lasting no more than three (3) hours.
1.9. The tape must be removed immediately after the session.
1.10. The product must only be used by individuals aged 12 years or older, or by younger users under direct adult supervision.
1.11. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, moisture, or excessive heat. Any other use—including prolonged use, overnight wear, medical application, or use on damaged or highly sensitive skin—is considered misuse and falls outside the intended purpose and legal scope of this product.
1.12. For external use only. Do not apply to mucous membranes, eyes, or internally. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose to open flame, high heat, or extreme conditions. Do not use if packaging is compromised.
2. DISCLAIMER
2.1. SHINOBI TECH Sports Finger Tape (3-Pack) is a non-sterile, single-use accessory made of bamboo-derived rayon fabric and hypoallergenic adhesive.
2.2. It is designed strictly for recreational athletic support purposes.
2.3. It is not a medical device and must not be used to prevent, diagnose, treat, alleviate, or manage any injury, disease, or physical condition.
2.4. This product has not been evaluated, licensed, or approved by Health Canada or any other medical authority under the Food and Drugs Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. F-27) or the Medical Devices Regulations (SOR/98-282). It is not authorized for therapeutic or rehabilitative use.
2.5. SHINOBI TECH makes no claims regarding recovery, injury prevention, or performance enhancement.
3. MANUFACTURING & LABELLING
3.1. This product is manufactured and labelled in accordance with the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-38).
3.2. All label information, including net quantity, common product name, and company identity, appears in both official languages where applicable.
3.3. The product complies with the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (S.C. 2010, c. 21). All materials used in this product, including adhesives and fabrics, are free from prohibited or restricted substances under Canadian law and are considered non-toxic and non-hazardous under normal conditions of use.
4. WAIVER OF LIABILITY
4.1. By purchasing or using SHINOBI TECH Sports Finger Tape (3-Pack), you acknowledge that athletic and training activities involve inherent risks.
4.2. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from the use of this product.
4.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive, release, and discharge SHINOBI TECH, its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from or related to your use of this product, including those arising from negligence.
4.4. By opening the package or using this product, you agree to follow all warnings and instructions and assume full responsibility for any consequences resulting from its use.
4.5. You acknowledge that you understand the limitations of this product and agree not to use it in any medical or therapeutic context.
4.6. You accept all risks associated with use, including but not limited to: skin irritation, allergic reaction, restricted blood flow, numbness, tingling, bruising, blistering, abrasions, adhesive sensitivity, rash, moisture-related discomfort, interference with athletic performance, grip degradation, adhesive residue transfer, or injury resulting from improper taping technique or failure to remove the product after use.
4.7. The product should not be used by individuals with circulatory disorders, peripheral neuropathy, adhesive allergies, skin disease, or any medical condition that may be aggravated by pressure or adhesive contact.
4.8. In rare cases, even individuals without known sensitivities may develop irritation or allergic reactions due to environmental factors or prolonged use.
4.9. The user assumes all responsibility for monitoring their body’s response and removing the product immediately at the first sign of discomfort or abnormality.
4.10. Seek immediate medical attention if any allergic reaction, irritation, or injury occurs.
4.11. Use of this product constitutes acceptance of this waiver.
5. NO GUARANTEE
5.1. The sale and use of this product in Ontario are subject to the Sale of Goods Act (R.S.O. 1990, c. S.1). SHINOBI TECH provides this product “as is,” with no express or implied warranties beyond those required by law.
5.2. All implied conditions regarding long-term durability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or suitability for medical or therapeutic use are expressly disclaimed.
5.3. SHINOBI TECH, its owners, employees, distributors, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, condition, loss, damage, or cost—whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential—arising from use or misuse of this product, including but not limited to failure to follow instructions, deviation from intended purpose, or individual variability in reaction.
5.4. Use of this product constitutes acceptance and acknowledgment of this provision.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & OWNERSHIP USAGE RESTRICTIONS
6.1. SHINOBI TECH is the operating business name of 1000057427 Ontario Inc. All rights in the name SHINOBI TECH, including associated trade names, branding elements, and commercial identifiers, are exclusively reserved by the company.
6.2. While SHINOBI TECH is not yet a registered trademark, it is in active commercial use and protected under Canadian common law through ongoing business operations and public brand association.
6.3. All elements of the SHINOBI TECH brand—including but not limited to product packaging, design layouts, logos, colour schemes, written product descriptions, instructional content, tutorial scripts, taping methods, illustrations, marketing copy, website and social media content, and QR-linked materials—are original intellectual property of the company, protected under the Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42) and applicable common law for trade identity and goodwill in Canada.
6.4. No part of this product or its packaging, contents, or presentation may be reproduced, imitated, adapted, distributed, reverse-engineered, resold, rebranded, relabelled, or used in connection with any other product or brand—whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes—without the company’s prior written consent.
6.5. The company retains exclusive rights to the commercial use of its intellectual property and may pursue legal action against any unauthorized use, imitation, or exploitation.
6.6. Use of the SHINOBI TECH name, product, packaging, or related materials does not grant any license, ownership, or rights of reproduction, redistribution, or modification.
6.7. Purchase or possession of SHINOBI TECH products does not permit any third party, distributor, or customer to rebrand, resell, modify, or market similar goods using this name or likeness.
6.8. All instructional materials, diagrams, and support content hosted online or included with the product are considered literary and artistic works under the Copyright Act and may not be copied, translated, adapted, or distributed for commercial use or public sharing without written authorization.
6.9. Any party found to be using the SHINOBI TECH name, likeness, packaging, or content for unauthorized commercial purposes—including imitation, reproduction, educational redistribution, or derivative branding—may be subject to legal action, including cease-and-desist orders, damages, and prosecution under Canadian intellectual property law.
